I promised pictures of my room, here we go! I will also try to explain some of my organization as we go. The room is a small bedroom in our basement, off the main room. We have a ranch house with a walkout basement with lots of windows, so the main room is long, bright and open. Looking into my room. Note: you should be able to click these pictures to enlarge and see better if desired!
I have a window as well, but outside it has a wooden cover over the egress window. So, I just leave the curtain shut as very little light would be coming in. File cabinet and desk against the left wall, cabinet, side table (with stereo) and couch along the window wall.
The couch and closed closet doors. Many things are hiding back there! This closet is under the stairs so quite deep! Punch holder on the door holds many of the black punches SU! used to have. Baskets on the floor have overflow ribbon.
Cubes in the corner that were purchased from Michaels many years ago. Some are designed for paper storage, many for other things. I'm using sticky notes for labels :) The upper drawers are holding envelopes and cards. I've sorted completed cards into categories and paired with coordinating envelopes, so they are ready to mail. Many accessories are stored here, watercolor paper, extra cardstock, chipboard, light table etc. I may officially label the drawers once I'm a little more settled!
The wardrobe next to the cubes, open to see one side. I store stamps in here and this is still a major work in progress. Stamps are the one thing I've not completely gotten through. There are lots! And every time I look through some, I change my mind on what to keep or what I might use!

The file cabinet next to my desk. The top has marker storage, embellishment storage (brads, eyelets, buttons), watercolor pencils, blender pens and water pens and my Stampin' Cut and Emboss machine. It is nice to have this accessible on a surface. I used to spend time on the floor die cutting but I'm too old for that now!! The marker storage here are both from
Stamp-n-Storage. I've had the one on the right for quite a while, it is the Marker Holder for Stampin' Blends. It holds all my current regular markers plus a decent number of Blends as I do not have them all. The left one is the "Marker Nook" and has a variety of retired regular markers and blends. The embellishment storage towers (retired SU!) fit perfectly on top of these!!
The drawers in the file cabinet are current cardstock, each in a file.
I keep them by color family. 3 families plus one set of In Colors in the top drawer, Neutrals and the other In Color in the bottom.
Here is the table, with just the ink pad storage I just added from Stamp-n-Storage. These are the Standard Ink Pad Holder, two on the bottom size 60. Two more on top size 30. The width of these perfectly fits my table. I tried to make this work previously, but I wasn't hitting on the right ones! They also have some that hold ink pads, markers and refills, but this seems to work best for me and my space! They stack together nicely and have an additional "kickstand" piece you can get to raise off the desk. My paper trimmer, some clear blocks, stamp cleaner and dauber holders fit perfectly under!
Here is the table with everything on it.
I chose these pad holders because I have a mix of stamp pads. Stampin' Up! has changed several times in the almost 25 years I've been a Demo. I have some of the original pads (top left) and many of the "middle" pads, the first "top flip". The newest pads are smaller than those, but there is a plan to house them all together!! The middle pads fit these holes perfectly. There is a wooden spacer you can get for the newer pads, literally just a small piece of wood you put at the back of the slot. And for the smaller pads, like the original SU, or a Stazon or Memento, they make "U" shaped spacers to hold those in place. That is a wall of stamp pads but so far, I am loving it! So fun to have all those colors right in front of me to choose from!
I found some acrylic totes to put reinkers in that sit perfectly on top of the ink pad holders. Again, sticky note labels! The ink pads are sorted with current colors in the lower left holder, by family. Subtles, Bright, Regals, Neutrals and In Colors with room at the top for Versamark, Stazon, Memento, Craft White and a few more! Original SU! pads, retired colors are top left. The right side is all retired colors. I've sorted the reinkers into the totes in similar order. One extra tote currently has ribbon as well.
A small drawer cabinet I got from my Sister-in-law. Actually, I think we traded, she took a cabinet I wasn't using, and I took this one!
More surface area for cutting tools. Inside are adhesive refills, containers of embossing powder and glitter, and my Simply Scored. Not deep drawers but they get the job done!
Ribbon storage! I've shared these before, at least on my Facebook Page. Lots of ribbon here, mostly sorted by color and so cool and handy to see it all!!
Finally, a peek into the closet. Lots of 12x12 DSP in boxes, and retired CS 8-1/2 x 11. I did sort that alphabetically so I can find what I want! Extra supplies, overflow embellishments. Embossing folders and dies. Boxes of stamps and dies in the back that still need to be gone through.
Will probably always be a work in progress! I do hope to use up some of this stuff, and sell some of it too!
